Can you chew the coca leaves in the teabag?
We do not recommend this. In order to chew and extract alkaloids, a Llipta is also needed. You need many more leaves than a tea bag can provide.
We are not versed in this. You will need to research this yourself.

Do you ship your products right away?
As soon as payment has cleared, we prepare your tea for shipment. We only sell product that we have in stock. The importing has already been done for you -- this saves you a lot of time!
Please take note that shipping Inka Tea is a bit more time consuming than shipping the pre-boxed Lupi or Windsor Tea. To keep our Inka Tea as fresh as possible and that means that we package to order. We've been known to package tea way into to the night and early morning. We don't like standing orders and will do EVERYTHING to get the tea out to you as quickly as possible.
We will ship on business days and Saturday. Our cut off time is typically 11:00 a.m. for shipment the same day.
To reiterate, we strive to get tea out the door to you as quickly as possible. We will contact you directly with any delays or issues.

What is Coca Tea and will it make me high?
Coca tea, also called mate de coca, is a tisane (tea) made using the leaves of the coca plant. It is made either by submerging the coca leaf or dipping a tea bag in hot water. The tea originates from the Andes mountain range, particularly Peru and Bolivia.
Coca tea provides a source of energy similar to coffee. The tea is often sold commercially in filtering bags, each of which usually contains approximately one gram of the coca leaf.
Though also known as mate, the mate de coca is not drunk through a straw like with mate of yerba mate, but as a tea.
The tea is greenish yellow color, and has a lightly earthy flavor, somewhat similar to that of chamomile but with a slightly more naturally "grassy" taste.
The consumption of Coca tea increases the absorption of oxygen in blood, which helps combat altitude sickness, and has a marked digestive and carminative action (relaxing stomach spasms).
It is a totally natural product and is non-addictive. It will not make a person "high".

Yes, that limit is 4 boxes or 400 Tea Bags.

What forms of Payment do you take?
We accept credit cards through Google Checkout. Google Checkout does not require "membership" of any type and helps us with fraud protection measures.
We no longer accept payment through Paypal.

What will your charge look like on my credit card statement?
If you ordered tea before 6/20/2008, your transaction would read "Chic Geeks". In order to better clarify transactions and make them more recognizable on credit card statements, we have changed the credit card statement name to "Chic Geeks Tea" to clarify orders more.
We found this necessary due to a recent chargeback.

What method of shipping do you use to ship orders?
Any order under 13 ounces is shipped by USPS First Class (this is standard for our 160 and 200 ct. orders). We have found that First Class often arrives to it's destination as quickly as Priority.
If First Class is not used, we use USPS Priority. If paid for, we ship USPS Express.
